BARRET ELKINS MAKES COACHING DEBUT
Elkins came to the Mount after spending last season as the head coach at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where he led both the men's and women's programs to Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Regular Season and Tournament Championships. Both the men's and women's squads went unscathed in the conference tournament, winning every match played during their title runs. Following the historic season for both MSU teams, Elkins was honored with RMAC Men's and Women's Coach of the Year honors.

ABOUT THE MOUNT MEN
The men's squad finished the 2017-18 season at 6-15 overall and reached the NEC Quarterfinals, where they fell to Fairleigh Dickinson. In last season's Bucknell Invitational, Parth Sharma registered a pair of victories at the No. 3 flight. Jackson Wood and Evan Hine, also advanced to the second round of their respective flights. Jean Armstrong was the other Mountaineer to claim a single win, topping Lafayette's Daniel Kamer at the third flight.

ABOUT THE MOUNT WOMEN
The Mountaineer women look to improve upon a 2017-18 campaign in which they posted five victories during the regular season but edged Saint Francis Pa. in the Northeast Conference (NEC) Quarterfinals before being defeated by Bryant in the NEC Semifinals to end the year. In last season's Bucknell Invitational, Alexa Quintanilla captured the top flight singles championship to highlight competition. Hannah Davis collected a pair of victories to reach the semifinals at the third flight.
