Women’s Swimming & Diving Wins Five Events, but Falls at Loyola

Baltimore, Md. (Feburary 4, 2017) – In its final tune-up before NEC Championships, the Mount St. Mary's University women's swimming & diving team fell at Loyola, 180-78.

The Mount won five events at the meet, including three in freestyle events. Victoria Aung placed first in the 200 free with a time of 1:59.90, Colette Robinson won the 50 free in 25.68, and Bridget Vaughan took the top spot in the 500 free 5:19.69.

Sarah Bonson won the other individual event for the Mount at the meet, posting a first-place showing in the 400 IM with a time of 4:53.11.

The Mount's 'A' relay squad also won the 200 medley relay as Maddie McGraw, Lauren Gullickson, Bonson and Maggie deTar combined to post a time of 1:52.80 to take first place.

The Mount heads to the Northeast Conference Championships spanning February 15-18 on the Campus of MIT in Cambridge, Mass.
