The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's swimming & diving teams are back in action for the three-day Franklin & Marshall Invitational spanning November 18-20 in Lancaster, Pa. Video of the invite can be seen for free here, and live results can be viewed here.

The Mount women won 14 of 15 events as they cruised to a 169-91 victory last time out over Howard on Senior Day to improve to 3-0 to open the season. The Mountaineers are chasing last year's 4-0 start, which was the best in program history. Senior Amanda Moore and freshman Maggie deTar paced the Mount in the win over Howard as the duo claimed three individual wins apiece. Moore took gold in the 50m fly (30.01), 200m free (2:11.61) and 100m free (1:03.44), while deTar placed first in the 50m free (27.85), 400m free (4:34.14) and 800m free (9:19.02).

On the men's side, Freshmen Will Twizell and Vincent Huang combined for five individual victories, but the Mount fell to Howard by a 161-107 margin. Twizell registered multiple victories in his second straight meet to open his career, claiming first place in the 200m fly (2:14.05), 200m back (2:12.81) and 200m IM (2:13.56). Huang posted the other pair of first-place showings for the Mount with wins in the 50m breast (31.44) and 200m breast (2:29.33).

Both the men's and women's squads are off from competition for the rest of the semester before returning to action on January 27 for a meet at La Salle.
