ABOUT THE MOUNT
The Mount's roster consists of 13 freshmen, three sophomores, four juniors, six seniors and four graduate students. Besides the freshmen, Coach Douglas has added four new athletes to her roster as well. Izzy Durkin is a junior from Darnestown, Maryland, Jordan Carpenter is a senior from Hagerstown, Maryland, Julie Crochet is a graduate student from Castres, France, and Lauren Judkins is a graduate student from McMinnville, Tennessee. Along with the four new athletes, the Mount is bringing back 14 players from last season's roster including NIRA All-American Jordan Butcher. Click here to learn more about the 2018-19 Mountaineers.

The Mount St. Mary's women's rugby team topped New England 47-13 on Saturday afternoon. Lauren Judkins led the Mount with two tries scored while five other Mountaineers touched the ball down a crossed the touch line in the win. Mountaineer freshman Tania Wheeler scored her first career try halfway through the second half.

SCOUTING THE NITTANY LIONS
The Quinnipiac Bobcats fell to the Penn State Nittany Lions, 26-22, in University Park, Pennsylvania. The Bobcats outscored the Nittany Lions, 22-14, in the second half but came up just short of completing the comeback against Penn State, a team that competes in Division I Elite Women's Rugby.

ALL-TIME SERIES WITH PENN STATE
This will be the first all-time meeting between the Mountaineers and the Nittany Lions since the Mount joined Division 1 last year.

The Mount women's rugby team will head to the Tier 2 Championships on Novemember 10.
