ABOUT THE MOUNT
The Mount's roster consists of 13 freshmen, three sophomores, four juniors, six seniors and four graduate students. Besides the freshmen, Coach Douglas has added four new athletes to her roster as well. Izzy Durkin is a junior from Darnestown, Maryland, Jordan Carpenter is a senior from Hagerstown, Maryland, Julie Crochet is a graduate student from Castres, France, and Lauren Judkins is a graduate student from McMinnville, Tennessee. Along with the four new athletes, the Mount is bringing back 14 players from last season's roster including NIRA All-American Jordan Butcher. Click here to learn more about the 2018-19 Mountaineers.

The Mount St. Mary's women's rugby team topped Molloy College 69-0 in a 10 v. 10 exhibition match on Saturday afternoon. Molloy was forced to forfeit the match because they did not have enough players to play a full 15's match but the two teams played a three period exhibition match. The Mount's Ubaida Ahmed led the team with two tries and one conversion kick for 12 points in the win. The Mountaineers had 10 players score a try for the second straight match. In the Mountaineer's first two matches of the season, the team has combined for 145 points and have held their opponents scoreless.

SCOUTING THE FALCONS
Notre Dame College took the field against West Chester University last Friday, looking to bounce back from their loss to Dartmouth the previous week. The number seven Falcons had a strong showing on the home turf and wrapped up a 60-0 victory. The Falcons start their season out at 1-1.

ALL-TIME SERIES WITH NOTRE DAME
Mount St. Mary's dropped last year's season opener, 60-5, at Notre Dame College in the only meeting between the two squads since the Mount became a division one sport. Jordan Butcher scored the only try in the match for the Mountaineers.
