Emmitsburg, Md. (March 3, 2019) – California outscored Mount St. Mary's by a 7-2 margin in the second half to come from behind and post a 12-9 victory on Sunday in non-conference women's lacrosse action at Waldron Family Stadium.

Minutes later, Marisa Kuberra and Eliza Christman netted back-to-back goals in a span of 1:21 to make it five straight scores for Cal and push the lead to 12-9. The Golden Bears' defense held the Mountaineers scoreless for the remainder of the contest to close out the victory.

Hurlburt led the Mount with three goals, while Kinsella and Miller each added a pair. Emily Davis registered a game-high six draw controls and Kaitlyn Ridenour picked up four ground balls. Goalie Jillian Petito made eight saves in the loss.
