SETTING THE SCENE
The Mountaineers head out for their final tournament of the fall semester at the Boston Intercollegiate spanning September 24-25 at the Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, Massachusetts. The 54-hole stroke play tournament will consist of a field of 17 teams.
Last time out at the William & Mary Invitational, Olivia Gardenhour paced the Mountaineers with a score of 247. The sophomore registered rounds of 86, 77, and 84 across the two days. Gardenhour's round of 77 was the best by a Mountaineer this season, and her score of 247 marked the best three-round total of the year for the Mount. Freshman Michaila Cheung posted rounds of 87, 94, and 81 for a total of 262, and sophomore Nicole Voci competed in a pair of rounds, registering scores of 111 and 103.
