>>> The Mountaineers close out their road trip with a contest at LIU Brooklyn on Monday night at the Steinberg Wellness Center in Brooklyn.
>>> The Mount and LIU Brooklyn will meet for the 58th time in series history. The Mountaineers own a 34-23 advantage in the series, including a 15-12 mark in Brooklyn. In the opening meeting between the two teams earlier this season in Emmitsburg, Juliette Lawless and Michaela Harrison combined for 35 points to lead the Mountaineers to a 61-45 victory. Lawless filled the stat sheet with 18 points, six rebounds, five assists, and a pair of steals. The senior did much of her damage at the foul line, making 9-of-16 from the charity stripe. Harrison made 4-of-10 from three-point range to tally 17 points on the day, while also adding three assists and two boards.
>>> Mount St. Mary's fell to Sacred Heart, 76-41, on Saturday afternoon at the William H. Pitt Center. The Pioneers raced out to a 20-4 lead and never looked back en route to the victory. They held the Mount to just 15 points in the opening half as they took a 41-15 advantage into the break. Freshman Michaela Harrison led the Mountaineers with 14 points, going 4-of-8 from three-point range. Jatarrikah Settled added 11 points and four assists while Rebecca Lee had eight points and six rebounds.
>>> The four three-pointers by Harrison gave her 57 on the year, which is the second-most by a freshman in program history and eighth-most overall. Daly Sullivan set the Mount freshman record with 75 threes just last season. Myriam Baccouche holds the overall program record with 79 threes made during the 2003-04 campaign.
>>> Following their contest at LIU Brooklyn, the Mountaineers return home to face league-leading Robert Morris on February 16 at 1 p.m.
