Mount Track Competed at IC4A/ECAC Championships This Past Weekend

Princeton, N.J. (May 11-12, 2019)--The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's track and field teams competed at the IC4A/ECAC Championships held at Princeton University this past weekend.

For the women's team, Najae Nickerson finished 27th in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.13 seconds while the 4x800m relay team of Maddie Kole, Destiny Boone, Clarke Hooper and Erin Jaskot was 16th with a time of 9:37.93.

For the men's team, Brian Sagendorf was 13th in the javelin with a toss of 55.19m (181-1) while Benjamin Finnigan was 17th in the 1,500m with a time of 3:53.87.  Will Merritt was 14thi n the 5,000m (14:33.43), Nicolas Fransham 16th in the 10,000m (31:39.73) and the 4x800m relay team of Isaac Kole, Brandon Briscoe, Finnigan and Branden Roach 11th with a time of 7:59.14.  Carter Nave placed ninth in the pole vault (4.76m, 15-7.25), Sean Fahey 19th in the triple jump (13.55m, 44-5.5), Alex Devine 18th in the discus (42.33m, 138-10) while Matthew Selba was 22nd in the discus (40.54m, 134-0) and 25th in the hammer throw (49.90m, 163-8).
