TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK:  Mount St. Mary's sophomore hurdler Najae Nickerson (Carlisle, Pa.) was been named the Northeast Conference Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week on Wednesday.  Nickerson had a strong performance at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational in Myrtle Beach, S.C., to open the 2019 outdoor season.  The second-year Mountaineer finished fifth overall out of 47 entrants in the 110m hurdles at the Shamrock Invitational. Taking second in her preliminary heat, Nickerson crossed the line in 14.51s. Owning a one-half second lead over the rest of the Northeast Conference, Nickerson ranks 31st overall amongst ECAC automatic qualifiers.
