MOUNT UPDATE:  Mount St. Mary's hit three home runs while turning three double plays to defeat Georgetown, 6-2, on Wednesday afternoon.  Emilee Kirk hit a three-run homer in the second to give the Mount a 3-0 lead.  Marian Ruf added a solo shot and Rachel Heinze a two-run homer in the win as well.  Heinze is hitting .400 on the year while leading the squad with 37 runs scored, 40 hits, 10 home runs and 28 RBI.  Cousin Lindsay Heinze is hitting .359 with four homers and 22 RBI while Morgan Alisauckas is hitting .333 with 25 runs batted in.  Sam Lichtner is 8-5 with a 3.58 ERA in 19 appearances (16 starts) while Ruf is 2-4 with a 4.77 ERA in 13 appearances.

ABOUT THE BLUE DEVILS:  Central Connecticut is 8-18 overall and 3-5 in the Northeast Conference this season.  The Blue Devils are coming off a doubleheader split at Siena.  Brittany Camara leads the team with a .324 average while Brittany McNulla is hitting .305 with two home runs and 19 RBI.  Emily Sargent has started 15 of the team's 26 games, going 5-14 with a 4.01 ERA on the year.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES WITH CCSU:  Mount St. Mary's is 15-21 all-time against Central Connecticut, including an 8-8 mark at home.  The Blue Devils have won the past seven meetings in the series, including a sweep in New Britain last season.  The Mount's last win over the Blue Devils was a 5-3 victory in the opening game of a doubleheader at home on April 13, 2013.

ABOUT THE RED FLASH:  Saint Francis enters Saturday's doubleheader against Robert Morris leading the Northeast Conference with a 31-9 overall record and a 4-0 mark in league play.  The Red Flash posted doubleheader sweeps over LIU Brooklyn and Fairleigh Dickinson to open NEC play.  Cheyenne McKee leads the team with a .398 average and 47 runs scored while Jordan Seneca (.306, 16 HR, 50 RBI) and Hayley Norton (.318, 10 HR, 36 RBI) have supplied the power.  The Red Flash have hit 42 home runs on the year as a team.  Ethel Santai (10-1, 1.89 ERA), Ketarah DeVries (8-5, 2.49 ERA) and Abby Trahan (12-3, 2.62 ERA) lead the league's top pitching staff.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES WITH SFU:  Saint Francis U holds a 52-23 lead in the all-time series with the Mount.  The Red Flash have won the past nine meetings between the two teams, including a doubleheader sweep in Loretto, Pa., last year.  The Mount's last win in the series was a 5-2 victory at home in the first game of a doubleheader on April 14, 2013.
