MOUNT ST. MARY'S UPDATE: Mount St. Mary's is coming off a doubleheader sweep of Coppin State at Our Lady of the Meadows Field on Wednesday. Sam Licthner tossed a complete game to lead the Mount to a 4-1 win in the opening game before the Mount rallied for an 8-7 win in game two. Freshman Kaylee Stoner leads the team with a .385 average, just ahead of Rachel Heinze (.372) and Lindsay Heinze (.361). Lichtner is 5-5 with a 3.97 ERA in 14 appearances.
ABOUT LIU BROOKLYN: LIU Brooklyn, the defending NEC champions, enter Sunday's game with a 14-19 record. Freshman Angie Rizzi leads the team with a .396 average with Victoria Zamora (.360) and Gina Bond (.352) right behind. Samantha Offenbeck has six home runs while Schae Dickson leads the team with 25 RBI. The Blackbirds lead the NEC with a .306 average. Erynn Sobieski leads the pitching staff with an 8-6 record and a 4.87 ERA in 21 appearances.
