MOUNT UPDATE:  Mount St. Mary's enters Wednesday's doubleheader 4-13 on the season after going 1-4 in the Under Armour Showcase in Florida.  The Mount defeated Yale (3-2) at the event while falling to Western Michigan (3-0), La Salle (5-4), Indiana State (5-4) and Purdue (10-2).  The Mount has not played since falling to Purdue on March 12.  Lindsay Heinze leads the Mount with a .396 average and six doubles while Morgan Alisauckas is hitting .347 with a team-high 13 RBI.  Rachel Heinze is hitting .333 with six home runs.  Sam Lichtner leads the pitching staff with a 3.87 ERA in 38.0 innings of work.

ABOUT THE BULLS: Buffalo entered today's doubleheader at George Washington with a 3-19 record on the season.  Leandra Jew leads the team with a .388 average and seven runs scored while Essence Savinon is hitting .375.  Ally Power is 2-5 with a 3.18 ERA in 12 appearances to lead the pitching staff.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES:  This will be the first-ever meeting between the Mount and Buffalo.

THIS AND THAT:  Rachel Heinze has six home runs this season, giving her 32 for her career at the Mount…She also leads the team in runs scored (16) and slugging percentage (.706)…Morgan Alisauckas leads the team with 13 RBI…Lindsay Heinze has a team-best 21 hits…Jordan Weaver leads the pitching staff with 27 strikeouts in 28.1 innings.

UP NEXT:  The Mount will host the Mount St. Mary's Invitational this weekend with games against Manhattan, Canisius, Cornell and Morgan State.
