ABOUT THE MOUNT MEN
The Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team topped Loyola 5-2 on Wednesday night. Jackson WoodParth Sharma, and Alonso Garcia led the Mount with wins in singles and doubles action. 

Jackson Wood earned his team leading 10th win of the season after he defeated Brian Hoffarth 6-2, 7-6 at the number one spot. The Mountaineers clinched the match victory after Alonso Garcia topped Benny Glezer 7-5, 6-3 in the number three flight. In the second and fourth flights, Parth Sharma downed Skyler Gates 6-2, 6-4 while Jean Armstrong battled back to clip Kyle Gower 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.

Mount St. Mary's grabbed the point from doubles play after they took the first and third flights. The Mount duo of Jackson Wood and Parth Sharma blanked Gates and Fitzmaurice 6-0 in the number one flight. Alonso Garcia and Gabriel Santos edged Hoffarth and Gower 7-5.

ABOUT THE MOUNT WOMEN
The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis team was downed by Loyola 5-2 on Wednesday night. Hannah Davis recorded her fourth singles flight win of the season at the number three spot. Davis teamed with Alexa Quintanilla to pick up their team leading eighth doubles win of the year.

The Greyhounds tabbed the match victory after Sandra Aguirre topped Mia Pittman 6-2, 6-2 in the number five flight. Hannah Davis nabbed the lone Mount singles flight win of the match after she defeated Abby Decker 4-6, 6-3, 14-12 in a hard fought battle in the third flight. Mount St. Mary's Alexa Quintanilla and Taylor Cook were forced to be pulled from their matches due to injury and illness which gave Loyola two default wins.

The Mountaineers won the doubles point after they took the number one and number three flights. Alexa Quintanilla and Hannah Davis edged Kateri Martin and Abby Thornton 7-5. In the third flight, Taylor Cook and Mia Pittman topped Abby Decker and Sandra Aguirre 6-1.

The Mount men's team and women's tennis teams welcome Coppin State for Senior Day on Tuesday, April 9 at 4 PM before the two squads travel to Bucknell on Wednesday, April 10 for a match at 3:30 PM. The match at Bucknell on Wednesday will be the men's last match of the regular season.
