The Mount men's and women's tennis teams were downed by Radford last Tuesday. The Mountaineer men were blanked by Radford 7-0 while the Mountaineers women were topped by Radford 6-1. With the losses, the Mount St. Mary's men fell to 1-7 so far on the year and the women dropped to 0-7. The Mount freshman, on the women's squad, Taylor Cook picked up her fourth win of the year and her second win at the number four spot.

ABOUT THE MOUNT MEN
In singles competition, the Highlanders took all six flights by just two sets each. Radford did not allow the Mountaineers to force a third tie-breaker set during the whole match. The Highlanders clinched the match win after Rodrigo Magalhaes topped Gabriel Santos in the number two flight. Much like singles play, Radford swept all three doubles flights but earned the doubles point advantage after winning the first two flights.

ABOUT THE MOUNT WOMEN
The Radford women won the match after taking the number one, two, three, five, and six flights. Mount St. Mary's lone point of the match came from when Taylor Cook edged Tyler Blalock 4-6, 6-4, 10-7 in the fourth flight. Megan Smith and Hannah Davis fought hard in the number two and three flights to force a tie-breaker third set but both were defeated in that third set. In doubles action, the Highlanders took the doubles point after winning the third and second flights. Radford completed the clean sweep after winning the third flight in doubles competition as well.
