ABOUT THE MOUNT
Mount sophomores Jackson Wood and Parth Sharma competed in the ITA Atlantic Regional Tournament on October 19-20. Wood was topped by Virginia's Gianni Ross 6-4, 6-1 in the round of 64 in the singles main draw. Ross was the fourth seed in the Regional Tournament and advanced to the second round after a first round bye. Wood advanced to the second round to meet Ross after he topped Beekman Schaeffer from St. Joes in the first round. During doubles action, the Mountaineer duo of Wood and Sharma were edged, 8-5, by the Regional Tournament's third seeded team of Aziz Kijametovic and Francois Musitelli from Old Dominion. The Mount pairing took a 4-1 advantage before the Old Dominion duo marched back to take the match.

The Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team took home first, third, and ninth place in the Loyola Invitational on September 28. The sophomore pair of Jackson Wood and Parth Sharma won their second straight doubles tournament to open up the Fall season. The duo earned first place in the doubles bracket of the Bucknell Invitational at the beginning of the September. The Mount's Jean Armstrong and Alonso Garcia picked up third place while Evan Hine and Gabriel Santos recorded ninth place.
