The Mountaineers won three matches in a row and four of their last five to close out the regular season with an 6-13 overall record and 1-4 mark in Northeast Conference play. Mount St. Mary's men's picked up one last win on the season with a 5-2 victory over Harford Community College on Senior Day. Led by the Seniors Tonon and DeSomocurcio who won both their sinlges flight and doubles flight that helped lead the Mount to victory.The Mountaineers recorded the one point advantage from doubles action by picking up wins in the second and third flight. Tonon/Wortkotter won another doubles decision finishing the season with a 12-3 record. Harford won the second and sixth singles flights but Mount St. Mary's took the rest. Seniors DeSomocurcio and Tonon won their flights that helped lead to the match victory.

ABOUT FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON
The Knights finished the regular season at 5-12 overall and 1-3 in conference play. Saint Francis U. lost three straight to close out its slate, registering losses to Wagner (2-5), Bryant (0-7) and Stony Brook (4-3). Jacob Whalley posted a 8-9 record at the number one flight in singles competition and Pedro Carvalho ended the season with FDU's best singles record of 13-11. Carvalho and Diogo Garnel have the best record in doubles action with 10-13.
Fairleigh Dickinson owns a 6-1 all-time record against Mount St. Mary's and have won the last six meetings. The Knights won the most recent meeting 5-2, coming earlier this year. DeSomocurcio and Armstrong scored the Mount's lone points in the match while Wortkotter/Tonon added the lone doubles victory.
LAST YEAR'S CHAMPIONSHIPS
Mount St. Mary's earned the sixth seed in last year's NEC Tournament, and was defeated by three-seeded Saint Francis U., 4-0, in quarterfinal action. Saint Francis U topped Fairleigh Dickinson in a 4-2 decision the following day in the semifinals. They met Bryant in the Championship the next day, where they were downed 4-0 by the Bulldogs.
