The Keydets registered a 124-71 victory during the Mount's inaugural season in 2016. 2017-18 SEASON RECAP
The Mount St. Mary's women's team raced out to its best start to a season in program history during the 2017-18 campaign, beginning the year 6-0 in dual meets after a pair of victories over VMI and wins over Monmouth, Saint Peter's, Howard and St. Francis Brooklyn. The Mount eventually closed out the season at 6-2, which marked the team's best dual meet record in program history. At the Northeast Conference Championships, the Mount finished in eighth place with 174 team points. Maddie McGraw highlighted the championships by registering a pair of top-10 finishes and breaking the Mount's program records in the 100 and 200 backstroke events. Mary Lombardi registered the team's other top-10 finish of the meet, placing eighth in the 1650 free.

In just its second season of existence, the men's program recorded dual meet victories over VMI, Monmouth and St. Francis Brooklyn en route to a 3-6 record on the season. The team's 119-95 win over VMI on October 7 was the first victory in program history, as the Mountaineers won eight of 12 events at the meet. The Mount posted a seventh-place showing at the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Championships in its first season as a member of the conference. Will Twizell led the Mount at the CCSA Championships, posting top-10 finishes in the 100 breast, 200 breast and 200 IM. In March, the Mountaineers sent seven qualifying swimmers – Twizell, Ryan Carroll, Brock Cudahy, Thomas de Xavier, Jonathan Mata, Aidan McCormick, and John Wilson -- to the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) National Invitational.
