Somerset, N.J. (February 25, 2019) – Mount St. Mary's freshman Jared McMahon has been named the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.
McMahon saw his first action of the season on Saturday at UMBC and the rookie showed up in a big way, registering a game-high five points on three goals and a pair of assists. McMahon helped shift momentum in the Mount's favor in the third quarter, tallying four of his five points in the frame.
