16 hits powered the Mount St. Mary's baseball team past Fairleigh Dickinson 15-7 in the three game series finale on Sunday afternoon. Myles Nicholsonfilled up the stat sheet again in the win. The speedy left fielder went 3-for-4 with three RBI, three stolen bases, two runs scored, and a double. With his three stolen bases, Nicholson has now already passed his season total from last year (22) and he sits in the top five in all of the NCAA.
Patrick Causa, Ryan Fisher, and Owen Wosleger each added multi-hit games for the Mountaineers. Causa was only a double away from recording a cycle as he hit a single in his first at bat, a triple in his second at bat, and a home run in his fourth at bat. Alex Kriss, Pat Daly, and Causa hit a home run in the game, Kriss has now homered two times in the last three games, and Daly has now homered twice in the last three games, and Causa has homered three times in the last two games. Noah Smith pitched 2.1 scoreless innings with a strikeout in relief. Jordan Geber earned his first win of the year after he pitched 5.1 innings while he struck out seven batters.

Corey Treyes and Erik Crossman homered while starting pitcher Aaron Rea tossed six efficient innings to lead the Coppin State baseball team to a 10-5 victory at Delaware State on Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field. This marks the tenth-straight MEAC series win for the Eagles who took at least two games in all eight three-game series' last season.
ABOUT THE HAWKS
Looking for a sweep, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore baseball team made several costly errors in the field. Norfolk State used that to their advantage to win the series finale 9-6 at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium Sunday. The six errors in total overshadowed a solid pitching performance by Keith Carpenter. In his first career start the redshirt freshman went five strong and allowed no earned runs. Four pitchers combined to surrender just three earned runs, and Andre Bell capped it off with a scoreless ninth
ALL-TIME SERIES WITH COPPIN STATE
Mount St. Mary's and Coppin State have met 33 times in series history with the Mountaineers holding a 26-6-1 advantage, including 17-3-1 record in Emmitsburg and an 8-3 mark at Coppin State. The Mount won the rain-shortened meeting to kick off last season at E.T. Straw Family Stadium, 4-1. Trey McGough pitched a complete game for the Mountaineers as he allowed just one earned run and struck out four batters. Thomas Savastio went 2-for-3 with two singles on the day while Alex Kriss also went 2-for-3 with two doubles and a run batted in.
ALL-TIME SERIES WITH EASTERN SHORE
The Mountaineers own a 31-9 advantage in the all-time series with the Hawks and split the season series with them last year. Each teams won one game and lost one game on their home field. Mount St. Mary's 13-1 against Eastern Shore at home, 18-5 on the road and 0-3 in neutral site contests.
