June 4, 2018 -- Former Mount St. Mary's University baseball standout Brady Feigl earned a promotion to Triple-A with the Round Rock Express in late May after a dominant start to his 2018 season. The lefty reliever continues his ascent within the Texas Rangers organization as he looks for his first taste of major league action.
Feigl began the season with the Double-A Frisco RoughRiders, where he pitched 16.1 innings without allowing a run before his call-up. Feigl registered 12 strikeouts while yielding just seven hits and five walks for a sparkling 0.67 WHIP with the RoughRiders. The lefty has thrown 4.1 innings at Triple-A since his promotion, allowing just one run for a 2.08 ERA. In his minor league career, Feigl owns a 2.84 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP with 139 strikeouts in 152 innings pitched.
Feigl, who played at the Mount from 2009-12, ranks seventh all-time in the school's Division I history with 154 strikeouts, and is tied for eighth for most complete games (6). During the 2009 season, Feigl posted the ninth-most strikeouts (69) in a single season in program history and ninth-highest strikeouts per nine average (9.96).
