The Mountaineers swept Maryland Eastern Shore in a doubleheader on Wednesday, March 29. Strong starting pitching from Jordan Lawson and Zach Call helped Mount St. Mary's sweep the doubleheader against Maryland Eastern Shore. The Mountaineers notched a 2-1 win in extra innings in the opening game while following that up with a 2-0 win in game two.

ABOUT UMBC RETRIEVERS
UMBC baseball won their second straight and third of their last four with a 4-2 victory against George Mason on Wednesday night. The Retrievers got a good start from freshman Mitchell Wilson, who picked up his first collegiate victory.
The Retrievers own a 36-12 advantage in the all-time series with the Mountaineers in their time in division I, including a 24-3 mark on their home field. The two teams played a three game series last season as UMBC came away with a 9-3, and 3-1 victories at home while Mount St. Mary's won the final game of the series 5-3 back on their home field.
The Mount goes on the road for a four game series at Fairleigh Dickinson April 7-9 with the first game beginning at 3 pm on Friday.
