Vaughn Parker II drove in the only run for Mount St. Mary's and Zach Call 4.2 strong innings, but Mount St. Mary's fell just short with a 3-1 loss to North Carolina A&T in the final game of the three game series. Trey McGough pitched 2.1 innings in relief for Mount while not allowing a run and striking out three batters.

Duke led 4-2 following Jimmy Herron's second homer of the season before Liberty scored the game's final six runs to upend the Blue Devils, 8-4, Tuesday afternoon at Liberty Baseball Stadium.

The Mountaineers and Bluedevils have met eight times in series history with Duke holding a 7-1 advantage. The two teams haven't squared off since 2011, when Duke earned a pair of victories, 2-1and 4-1.
