The game against Coppin St. that was scheduled for Wednesday, March 1 was canceled due to inclement weather. The Mountaineers were held to just two hits on Sunday while surrendering 29 runs to New Mexico State in a 29-1 losing effort. The Mount were led by Patrick Causa and Chris Wessels who had the only two hits for the Mountaineers.

ABOUT NORTH CAROLINA A&T
The Aggies are coming off a 3-2 loss to Presbyterian College on Wednesday in a rain shortened game. North Carolina A&T started the scoring with two runs in the bottom of the first. The first two batters of the game reached for the Aggies with a walk and a single. Two batters later, with runners at second and third with one out, Dawnoven Smith singled to center to score both and give NCAT the 2-0 lead but the Aggies were kept scoreless for the rest of the game.
This is the first all-time meeting between the Mount and North Carolina A&T.
The Mountaineers will head to Duke for one game on Saturday, March 8 at 4 p.m.
